An opening sale will mark the opening of the new store in Bolton Market Place.

Signage announcing Deichmann will be 'opening soon' in the retail and leisure centre has gone up.

The shoe store will be moving into where the Market Emporium was located, which has now been relocated next door to River Island.

An opening date has not yet been released for the store but it has been announced that customers will receive a limited opening offer of 50 per cent off.

The offer will apply to selected lines and whilst stocks last.

The opening of the shoe store was confirmed earlier last month.

Deichmann is known for 'selling quality footwear at an affordable price'.

The news of the opening also comes as a new store is set to move into the another unit, although the name of the store is being kept under wraps.

Primark is set to open in the Market Place in the former Debenhams unit in late 2024/early 2025 depending on construction works.

Earlier last year the clothing retail giant announced it was planning to move its store from Crompton Place to The Market Place Shopping Centre.

Signage has also been put up in the windows of the former Flannels unit with the possibility of something also opening there in the not-so-distant future.

A customer shopping in the Market Place said: “I am really looking forward to having another place to shop for shoes in the town centre. I normally have to go to Bury to shop at Deichmann, so I am excited.”
